I am a retired middle school instrumental music teacher, flutist, photographer, yoga practitioner, and genealogy addict. I love to teach and believe in giving people the tools and support to teach themselves.
Unknown ( I wish I had written this!)
I have completed the Genealogical Principles course through the Boston University Center for Professional Education and am a member of several genealogy groups (Italian Genealogy Group, Belgian Researchers Queries Group, Polish Genealogy Group, Campania Genealogy, and others) where there is much sharing of ideas and knowledge, workshops to attend on various subjects, and opportunities to assist others and receive assistance as well.
I am constantly reading about different aspects of genealogy and subjects related to my family's history to better understand what their lives were like.
I studied French and Italian at the university level (30 credits in Italian from Nazareth University in Rochester, NY) and have taken classes in Polish, too. I indexed over 800 Polish birth acts dated 1808-1810. I am quite comfortable translating and interpreting Italian (should be able to help with French and Polish) and would be happy to help you translate your documents.
